Candidates in the March 5th 2024 primary election from the Peace and Freedom Party and the Green Party have formed a "Left Unity Slate," all endorsing each other. They present a united effort to contest the election on behalf of California's working-class left. They are advocates of peace, opponents of racism and all discrimination, champions of human rights for all, and independent of the billionaires' twin parties that somehow never challenge the iron grip of the profiteers on power. They refuse all corporate contributions, and work together to empower working people.

California's first Left Unity Slate contested the 2022 primary election, presenting Green Party and Peace and Freedom Party candidates for all the statewide offices. That effort resulted in a more effective campaign for each candidate, and advances in the vote that won both parties renewed ballot access for another four years.
