Shannel Pittman for State Assembly, 52nd District.
Shannel Pittman has lived in central Los Angeles her entire life. Repelled by the corporate agenda of limited opportunity for the working class, and concentration of all power in the hands of the ultra-wealthy, she has been active in the Green Party. She is Co-Chair of the Green Party U. S. National Diversity Committee.
Shannel says "It's time for a Green New Deal. It's time for the socialist transformation of society." Her campaign for Assembly is endorsed by the Peace and Freedom Party, and by many state leaders of the Green Party.
She is running a joint campaign with Aaron Reveles, the Peace and Freedom Party candidate for Congress in the 34th District, which substantially overlaps the 52nd Assembly District.
