To Do
What needs to be done.
Please Register, find your polling place and Vote on Tuesday June 2, 2026
Software To Do
- It would be good to have an announcement list with a subscribe button. I need thsi for my day job anyhow.
- Make it in Spanish.
- Focus on the Marjorie Michaels web site. She is rare legal training.
- add in vote totals and percentage of the vote.
- below (or near) each logo we should run a link to that party's California website. (not sure if this is a good idea or not)
Graphics To Do
- A better Greem Party of California Logo.
One shy reader writes: "I know that wierd looking G is one of the Green Party logos, but could we find one that says Green Party instead?" I am not a graphics arist. Any volunteers?
Data To Do
I suggest you use bold type to enhance readability and identify the party of origin for each candidate (and candidate website and three major campaign policies).
Ask for Greg Jan's contact info
List both governors, but say that they are not part of the Unity slate.
Need a statement about the two gubernatorial candidates. The article on the formation of the slate should note that the two parties are supporting different candidates for governor, so the slate does not include a candidate for governor. This paragraph should list the two gubernatorial candidates, and then give links to the two gubernatorial campaign websites. (The first time they are mentioned should be in opposite order to the second time - strictly neutral between them.) I can write all that, but of course it needs to be run by the candidates and party officials before it goes live.
It needs instructions on signature gathering. An explanation of the various quirks in the rules.
Statewide offices on California ballot in the following order. Governor (n a) Lieutenant Governor Secretary of State Controller Treasurer Attorney General Insurance Commissioner Superintendent of Public Instruction
Testing and Commenting
There is no budget for an official testiing team. It just needs uses to test and use it. I can't promise no bugs, but I can promise that any bugs can be fixed very quickly.
I am sure that lots of users will have many suggestions.
