Marjorie Mikels

Marjorie Mikels is running for California Attorney General to work for peace and justice for ordinary people, not to represent billionaires.  Her campaign has been endorsed by the Green Party, of which she is a member, and by the Peace and Freedom Party.  Marjorie is proud to join the Left Unity Slate, raising our voices together for social justice.

Marjorie Mikels has been a licensed member of the California State Bar since 1981, having received her law degree from UCLA.  She is also certified to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court.   As she says, she has been "hardened by years of fierce legal battles and political struggle."  She now lives in Oakland, and is very active in social justice movements in her area.  She is a member of Bay Area Code Pink, signed on as a member of the class action group in Taxpayers Against Genocide, and is often seen at demonstrations for human rights, for peace, and against authoritarianism and fascism.
